GROCERY SHOPPING
Let’s keep it simple. So to kickoff my 8 week challenge I decided
to start with some shopping! Shopping for the challenge wasn’t a challenge at
all. It was really simple. I decided that I would get stuff for the first week
and a half as far as fruits and veggies so they don’t go bad. As for freezer
items mainly proteins and frozen veggies I got a bout 2 weeks or so worth! I went
shopping at the local Tesco they have great deals throughout the store love
shopping there! I got all my proteins 3 for 10 and 3 bags of pecans for 2 pounds
as well as frozen veggies 2 for 2 and a
54 cents credit the next time I shop (54 cents doesn’t sound like much but it
adds up) that’s awesome! Here is what I got
Fruit:
Apples
Bananas
Veggies:
Broccoli florets
Carrots, Brussels Sprout mix
Tomatoes
Cucumber
Protein:
Chicken Breast
Salmon fillets
Snacks:
Popcorn
Peanuts (roasted salted)
Pecans
Dairy:
Semi Skim Milk
Fruit Flavored Yogurt
Other:
Flavor Mixes (season for meats and veggies)
Caesar Salad Dressing
All together this cost me about 31 pounds…yes pounds im
currently in school in south Wales !
I think I did pretty well now let’s hope this food last, doesn’t go bad, and I am
able to stick to my new diet plan!
